This opportunity will see you work with a truly global presence as part of one of the largest teams within this sector based across 18 countries world-wide across HEOR, Market Access, Epidemiology & Real World Evidence along with multiple other departments and teams.

As the Health Economics Engagement Manager, you will work alongside multiple other highly established leaders within this group, leading teams and high-profile projects across the EMEA regions. The primary functions of this roll will be to ensure all projects are completed to agreed time frames to the highest standard & quality on behalf of some of the most high-profile clients in the industry but also take an active role in Business development & securing new projects for your delivery team.

Overview of responsibilities:

  • Manage, lead and deliver complex HEOR / HTA focused projects such as Health Economic modelling, Evidence synthesis & statistical analysis. literature reviews / Meta-Analysis, HTA dossiers and development of impactful reports, publications and value communication tools.
  • Ensure that projects are always completed to agreed deadlines and to the highest standards with great attention to detail on quality.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients, provide consultation regarding client issues and make recommendations for appropriate solutions whilst distilling strategic insights that generate value for clients.
  • Assess RFPs and business opportunities and lead / contribute to the development of proposals to secure global projects.
  • Provide continuous mentoring, training and development opportunities for the wider Health Economics group within areas of expertise.
  • Provide support in bringing new talent into the Health Economics group through taking part in interview proceedings and providing feedback back on candidate potential / suitability to other senior members of the group.
  • Take a pro-active lead on thought leadership, introducing new methods and protocols into the business where required and lead a number of H.E & Real world business initiatives.
  • Publicly represent the client by active participation in conferences & seminars and through active report & publication development.

Essential qualifications and requirements:

  • MSc / PhD in Health Economics or other closely related scientific field.
  • This role requires demonstrable in-depth knowledge of Health Technology Assessment landscapes & HTA development / Health Economic modelling, evidence generation strategy & value communications.
  • Excellent & demonstrable personal expertise / technical skills in a HEOR function with the preference to be H.E modelling. However, we will also consider candidates who specialise in other areas such as evidence synthesis or HTA development.
  • 5+ years’ experience within HEOR / HTA in a commercial / sponsor / consulting environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to effectively lead, manage, motivate and develop teams of technical Health Economics experts, mentoring, training whilst working at management level with responsibilities for driving the overall business unit & function.
  • A good track record of securing new business through pro-active business development, responding to RFP’s whilst leveraging and developing what should be an already established but expanding network within the Pharmaceutical industry, HTA bodies and Academia.
