Hobson Prior are looking for a Global Supply Planner to join a brilliant pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis, located in Ireland. Our Client is focused on improving access and affordability to create healthier communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Your responsibilities include managing daily activities that improve LIFR and customer service.
  • Communicate and maintain deep cross-functional relationships with Suppliers, Demand Planning, Sales, Customer Service, and Distribution / Logistics.
  • Manage complex business scenarios with ease
  • Communicate supply chain metrics and supply status proactively.
  • Develop a plan for resolving issues, implement this plan, and influence key partners' support for implementation.
  • Ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Enhance product cycle time, supply flexibility, and reliability by working with plants and sourcing partners.
  • Manage the requirements and assess the capabilities of partners on a regular basis.
  • Utilize entitlement modelling to determine the appropriate inventory level and minimize write-offs
  • Assist with New Product Launches and Promotions on behalf of the supply chain organization.
  • Achieve effective transitions between phases or changes in products.
  • Implement Document Change Orders after reviewing, approving, and coordinating them.
  • Communicate with partners on supply capabilities and production projections.
  • Key stakeholder in the Global Sales and Operations Planning Process
  • Develop global supply chain initiatives, monitor team performance and push improvement in the supply chain.
  • Handle all changes and exceptions associated with Purchase Orders.
  • Ensure that weekly and monthly performance metrics are maintained for suppliers and shipments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified in a relevant field with a Bachelor's degree.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of operations experience, including procurement or materials planning, in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in contract manufacturing.
  • A working knowledge of CPIM/CPM is desirable.
  • Accreditation by NAPM and APICS.
  • The ability to demonstrate understanding from a global perspective.
  • An understanding of the financial process would be beneficial.
  • A keen sense of business acumen.
  • An understanding of SAP modules (APO, SNP, and ECC).
