We are now looking for an IT Manager to join us to manage, and grow the Infrastructure & Systems requirements within the business, providing support across all aspects of IT and systems within our growing business. Ideally with a strong Windows Infrastructure background with exposure to Azure.

Based in Bracknell, supporting in the delivery of the best service for our clients, and our employees. We are looking for an engineer with a creative mindset and a passion for technology that can work with us in a multitude of different environments supporting and implementing .net web applications. As well as keeping our infrastructure, across multiple locations around the world, running at top efficiency!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ownership of the IT function across the company including the support, provision and maintenance of all the company's IT systems, network and communications infrastructure on a day-to-day basis
• Managing and Implementing IT systems and processes such as new servers, Exchange migration, OS rollout, database implementation and contribute to decisions on IT budgeting as well forecasting and recommendations on IT strategy
• Managing licences and support contracts on hardware and software and provide support and training regarding IT software and processes to users on site and using remote support tools
• Own and develop network and VPN connections. To lead the diagnosis and resolution of technical issues including providing desktop and server support including hardware preparation, configuration and repair
• Design, implement and manage all BCP processes including recovery plan while also managing, maintaining and developing IT security
• Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on laptops including necessary Antivirus installations
• Maintain MS servers including exchange, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Applications including installing software to laptops, maintain, manage and develop and optimise company's Microsoft Office 365, SharePoint & One Drive IT infrastructure
• Support hosted servers, applications and CMS technologies - Azure, Windows Server 2008-2019, IIS SQL Server, Sitecore, Umbraco
• Technical Architecture - plan, develop and implement complex hosting environments for client hosted environments
• DevOps Support- plan, deploy and support Development tools to support existing development maintenance contracts for hosted sites as well support in the designing and implementing new hosting solutions

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE:

Essential:

• Azure PaaS, IaaS WebApps experience.
• Windows server background with full knowledge of AD, DNS, DHCP, VMware etc
• Networking knowledge - TCP/IP, DNS, VLAN, VPN, SSL & IPSec
• IIS administration - working with web servers

Desirable:

• Octopus Deploy experience
• Good PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Experience with VOIP Comms and other telephony
• Experience in hardware asset management
• Highly Beneficial:
• Office 365 migration experience
